Paying new contacts on the fly 🤙
Payments have gotten even easier on Multis. You can now directly create and pay a new contact while setting up a payment. No need to break your flow!
You’ll notice that when you select a contact while making a payment a “Create new contact” button appears at the end of the list. This will allow you to enter in a new contact’s wallet address and pay them directly.
The Menu Bar Gets a Makeover 💅
We’ll be making some major changes to the design of our app and we’re off to a great start with the redesigned Menu bar! For an easier user experience we’ve moved everything to the left-hand side. “Move Money” has now become “Send” and we’ve renamed “Wallets” to “Portfolio.”

Celebrating a new year…and a growing Multeam
Omicron may have put a wrench in our January offsite planned in the Alps but it didn’t stop us from our annual tradition of celebrating the New Year at a favorite Armenian restaurant, hidden in Paris. We gathered the Paris based team alongside new hires and old friends for an evening of laughter, dumplings, and quite a bit of wine.
The only thing that would have made it better would be to have our remote tech team with us (next time they’ll be there). You can read all about our newest fullstack developer Alp, and his first week joining the Multeam here (any Douglas Adams fans will appreciate the post).
Interested in joining? We’re recruiting in business, engineering, and product- feel free to apply!
Stories from our Partners ❤️
One of our key concerns at Multis is making network fees as easy as possible to pay. This is one of the reasons why we integrated Infura ITX - this technical integration allows users to pay network fees using whatever token they’re paying in, eliminating the need to purchase ETH separately. Our CTO Greg writes, “We know that building trust through fluidity- whether it's fiat that's as liquid as crypto or making network fees as easy as possible - is a major part of our engineering and product strategy. Our Infura ITX integration is an important step in making good on our vision.” Read more about this integration here.
Crypto Ops Read of the Week: DAO or Company?
This is not a long read but a thought-provoking tweet from Chase Chapman, co-founder at Decentology.
This food for thought is a nice reminder that even though DAOs might be the future of work, there are still coordination practices from companies that are worthwhile. Indeed, at Multis we think that DAOs should have tools that borrow from the best apps in the fiat world. As of my writing this tweet is new and is already generating interesting discussions so be sure to check it out!
